"I hired Peggy to sell my house a little over two years ago and to purchase a home after that. I was concerned about the process of selling our house (this was our first home and I'd never sold a home before). I have 2 young children and 2 dogs and was concerned about how that would work with showings.
Peggy walked through our house and identified some areas where we could make some easy inmprovements for "staging" - things like cleaning certain countertops, rearranging furniture, painting a wall. They must have been good suggestions because she sold our house very quickly - I can't remember exactly but I think we were under contract in about 30 days or so which was well below the average and expected time frame.
She helped find ways to make the showings easier, scheduling them around our schedules as much as possible and had some ideas for minimizing the disruptions to our busy lives.
Peggy worked hard to market our house and when we had a potential buyer, she also did a great job negotiating the details of the inspection items. She was knowledgeable and showed a lot of integrity on disclosure issues, making sure we disclosed every item that could be a potential issue and preventing us from having issues down the line.
When it came time to buy a new house shortly thereafter, she did a great job negotiating the best price for us and some credits at closing as well.
Both closings went smoothly despite some hiccups that develop in any real estate transaction. Peggy was responsive, knowledgeable and professional. I recommend her highly."
